BeLog aims to be the benchmark investment and asset manager for institutional investors and family offices in Iberia: Spain and Portugal. Although it was created recently in September 2023, it has an independent and highly qualified team with an excellent track record in the logistics real estate industry.

Alejandro Rumayor, Xavier Novell and Pau Llorca, partners and founders of the firm, have developed their professional activity together in the sector since 2014 being responsible for the set up of Logicor in Spain, the leading investment and real estate asset management pan European platform of Blackstone. Their leadership and hard work over the years have contributed to Logicor’s growth, positioning the company at the top of the sector’s ranking.

In 2017, following the company’s consolidation in Europe, Blackstone sold 87% of Logicor to Chinese sovereign wealth fund CIC, making the sale the largest private equity real estate transaction by volume in Europe ($13.8bn). BeLog’s management team played a key role in this transaction and continued to manage Logicor’s portfolio alongside Blackstone’s Core+ and Value add funds in Spain, working on everything from acquisitions to the development of logistics assets ahead of its exit in September 2023.
